Corruption situation not getting better – TIZ

TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) executive director Maurice Nyambe says his organisation is concerned about the corruption situation in the country which doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Giving remarks at the 2021 National Anti-Corruption Conference, Monday, Nyambe said the anti corruption fight had not delivered effective results in recent years. “We hate corruption because it is an enemy of progress, whichever way you want to look at it. Whether you are looking at it from a governance angle, from a political angle, from an economic angle, generally corruption is an enemy of progress and I think that is why we all hate it.
