THE Lusaka High Court has dismissed a matter in which Professional Teachers Union of Zambia (PROTUZ) sought leave to commence judicial review proceedings against the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and the Zambia National Commercial Bank’s decision to freeze its bank account. In this matter, PROTUZ was seeking an order of certiorari of the High court to quash the decision of ACC and ZANACO to restrict its bank ACC no.5766743500118 domiciled at Woodlands branch without issuing a restriction notice and a declaration that it was the rightful owner of the account.
