THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has assured that Zambia has enough fuel to last for over two weeks should borders be circumstantially closed. ERB Director General Langiwe Lungu said members of the public should not panic as the country had enough fuel in stock. Lungu said this when she and other ERB board members called on Copperbelt Permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe at his office in Ndola. She said government had helped in stabilizing and maintaining the price of fuel by removing value-added tax and other excise duties. “Government has also allowed almost all oil marketing companies which applied for a permit to import fuel which has also helped in having enough fuel supply in the country,” said Lungu.
