ATTORNEY General Likando Kalaluka has agreed that the state must pay Lusaka Lawyer Lewis Mosho in excess of US$4.1 million (about K75 million) as damages over his arrest and prosecution by the Drug Enforcement Commission in a theft and money laundering case involving Shoprite. Delivering ruling, the Lusaka High Court noted that the claims that the plaintiff made were agreed to by the defendant who is the Attorney General. This is a case in which Shoprite Holdings reported Mosho to the Drug Enforcement Commission for theft and money laundering.
