Zesco revises load shedding schedule after backlash

ZESCO public relations manager Hazel Zulu says the company has reviewed the power outage schedule that is expected to hit most parts of Lusaka this weekend. According to a notice from Zesco on Monday, an interruption of power was expected to occur on Friday 12th November, 2021 at 06:00hrs to Sunday 14th November 2021 at 18:00hrs. But in a statement Zulu said the company had reviewed the schedule and the load management would now be done on a rotational basis with a maximum of eight-hour-long loss of power from Friday to Sunday.
