UPND will not allow more abuse of DMMU – Nalumango

VICE-PRESIDENT Mutale Nalumango says there will be no more abuse of the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU) under UPND as it was in the previous regime. Speaking in Parliament, Friday, Vice-President Nalumango said the UPND government would restore integrity at DMMU. “There will be no abuse, the abuse that happened was not so much of the law, it was to do with the people that occupied the office. We are going to bring back integrity to DMMU, first by commitment. If there are any issues to do with the law, we will also look at that.
