Kalimanshi takes fresh plea, denies defaming Kampyongo

PF cadre Innocent Kalimanshi, commonly known as “Ama Americans”, has taken fresh plea in a matter in which he is accused of defaming former Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo in a WhatsApp message. Kalimanshi was earlier appearing before Magistrate Felix Kaoma but the magistrate later sent the case back for re-allocation after being allocated another matter involving Kalimanshi. And when the matter came up before Magistrate Faides Hamaundu, Thursday, Kalimanshi, 40, pleaded not guilty to the charge of libel.
