High Court throws out HH land case for lack of progress

THE Lusaka High Court has dismissed a matter in which Hakainde Hichilema was sued by an administrator of the estate of late George Hambwalula over the alleged fraudulent purchase of three farms in Kalomo District, for lack of prosecution. When the matter came up on July 1, 2021 for an inter-parte hearing of the injunction application, the parties were not before court and no reasons were advanced. “This matter was scheduled for hearing of the injunction application inter-parte on 1st July 2021 at 08:45 hours.
