Surety, lawyers withdraw in Tayali’s defamation of the President case

Economic and Equity Party (EPP) leader Chilufya Tayali was yesterday treated to a rude shock when one of his sureties decided to withdraw, citing pressure from his family. This is a matter in which Tayali is charged with defamation of the President contrary to 69 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
