THREE UPND members have appeared before the Luanshya Magistrates’ Court for rubbing off “Nathan Chanda” from a police post name. Meanwhile, the Zambia Police Service has advised party cadres who may have concerns over the names of certain police stations to follow laid down procedures rather than taking the law into their own hands. The three; Eugene Hachoobe 33, Moses Chabinga 41 and Elias Chisala 53, have been charged with disorderly conduct at a police station. The accused persons, who are suspected UPND sympathizers, are alleged to have stormed Nathan Chanda Police Post in Roan constituency on October 22, 2021.
