Zambians are not fools, MMD lost despite avalanche of cash, donations – Guy Scott

FORMER Vice-President Dr Guy Scott says it is tragic to see politicians infantilising voters, reducing them to beggars and treating them like dirt with the continued cash donations. And Dr Scott says Zambians are not fools, as they have seen the politics of cash donations before, in apparent reference to the MMD regime that was ousted in 2011. Last week, Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe said government officials and members of parliament were giving out money in their constituencies because people were begging for it.
