No rallies, orders Lungu as PF supporters swarm Mulungushi for his campaign launch

PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has directed the police to deal with any politician who will be seen conducting campaign rallies as a measure to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic ahead of the August 12 elections in Zambia. However, multitudes of PF supporters yesterday swarmed Mulungushi International Conference Centre to witness the launch of the ruling party campaigns. Addressing his supporters, President Lungu said it was irresponsibility of the highest order for UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to have invited multitudes to Mulungushi Conference Centre last week when filling in his nominations.
