FORMER Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Dipak Patel says the failure by the PF government to pay debt is due to their irresponsible and incompetent fiscal management. In an interview, Patel said the fact that people were still debating unsustainable and unpayable government debts was a sign of political leadership failure. “Zambia under the PF government has been a case study in how to ruin an economy. ‘To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.
