State House tightlipped on Lungu’s Covid vaccine status

SPECIAL Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Isaac Chipampe says it is President Edgar Lungu’s prerogative to publicise whether he has been vaccinated against COVID-19 or not. When asked in an interview, Wednesday, whether the Head of State was fully vaccinated and why he was not taking the lead to publicise his vaccination to encourage the people, Chipampe said not all Presidents had made their medical choices public. He added that President Lungu believed in the vaccines and that was the reason they were brought into the country. “That is the President’s prerogative whether to make it public or not. It is not every President that has made it public so that should not be an issue…....
