Mwila’s ignorance on role of election observers shocks TIZ

TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) says the statement by PF secretary general Davies Mwila that election observers are not needed in the country, is unreasonable and devoid of logic. In an interview, TIZ executive director Maurice Nyambe said international and local observers were part of the key stakeholders in the electoral process. “TIZ notes with great concern the comments by the PF Secretary General Davies Mwila that election observers are not needed in Zambia because the country is not at war.
