LAZ accuses Sangwa of disparaging Judiciary

THE Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) has argued that President Hakainde Hichilema would fall foul of the law if he succumbed to constitutional lawyer John Sangwa’s invitation to allow the position of the Chief Justice to be publicly advertised. But the Civil Society Constitution Agenda (CiSCA) has argued that Sangwa’s proposal is valid, democratic and enhances transparency in terms of meritorious appointment, even if it is not enshrined in the constitution.
