Court upholds Kampyongo’s election

THE High Court sitting in Chinsali yesterday declared Stephen Kampyongo duly elected member of parliament for Shiwang’andu Constituency. Speaking to Journalists after the ruling, Wednesday, Kampyongo said he was worried about the number of seats belonging to the PF that had been nullified. “First and foremost, I want to start by thanking the people of Shiwang’andu with their decision on August the 12th, for the third time to return me as a member of parliament. What the court has done is just to reaffirm the decision which they made.
