We have to increase fuel prices “a bit” so that we can reduce them – Nalumango

VICE-PRESIDENT Mutale Nalumango says people should be concerned if government is spending too much on fuel. And the VEEP says the 2026 elections will take place under a new Constitution. Speaking in Parliament during the Vice-President’s question time, Friday, Vice-President Nalumango said government’s intention was to reduce fuel prices, and that sometimes to go down, there was need to go up “a bit”. “Sometimes to go down, you need to go up a bit, that is a general statement.
