We’ll not arrest anyone for corruption without doing a thorough investigation – govt

CHIEF Government Spokesperson Chushi Kasanda has stressed that the UPND government will not arrest anyone on corruption allegations until thorough investigations are done. Commenting on remarks made by ActionAid Zambia country director Nalucha Ziba that the UPND had no clear strategy around the fight against corruption, Kasanda said the UPND would not emulate the PF administration by arresting people without conducting thorough investigations. “First and foremost, we cannot just start arresting, I know the Zambians are expecting us to arrest people.
