JUSTICE Minister Mulambo Haimbe says it will not be necessary to introduce fresh laws that will compel political parties to adopt women, as the existing legislation only needs to be strengthened. The Non-governmental Gender Organisations’ Coordinating Council (NGOCC) has demanded for a law that will compel political parties to adopt women so as to narrow the widening gender inequalities in the political space.
